दानफलप्रकरणम् — उपानहदानं, तिलदानं, भूमिदानं, गोदानं, अन्नदानं च

अत्र गाथा भूमिगीता: कीर्तयन्ति पुराविद: । या: श्रुत्वा जामदग्न्येन दत्ता भू: काश्यपाय वै,प्राचीन बातोंको जाननेवाले लोग भूमिकी गायी हुई गाथाओंका वर्णन किया करते हैं, जिन्हें सुनकर जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामने काश्यपजीको सारी पृथ्वी दान कर दी थी
atra gāthā bhūmi-gītāḥ kīrtayanti purāvidaḥ | yāḥ śrutvā jāmadagnyena dattā bhūḥ kāśyapāya vai ||
یہاں قدیم روایات کے جاننے والے ‘بھومی گیتا’ نامی گاتھائیں بیان کرتے ہیں؛ جنہیں سن کر جمَدگنی کے فرزند پرشورام نے واقعی کاشیپ کو ساری زمین دان کر دی تھی۔
