अफ्-४-णका+ पञ्चपञज्चाशत्तमो<् ध्याय: च्यवनका कुशिकके पूछनेपर उनके घरमें अपने निवासका कारण बताना और उन्हें वरदान देना च्यवन उवाच वरश्न गृह्मतां मत्तो यश्न ते संशयो हृदि । त॑ प्रब्रूहि नरश्रेष्ठ सर्व सम्पादयामि ते

Cyavana uvāca: varaś ca gṛhyatāṁ matto yaś ca te saṁśayo hṛdi | taṁ prabrūhi naraśreṣṭha sarvaṁ sampādayāmi te ||

چَیَوَن نے کہا—اے بہترین انسان! مجھ سے ایک ور مانگو، اور جو شک تمہارے دل میں ہے وہ بھی بیان کرو۔ میں تمہارے سب مقاصد پورے کر دوں گا۔
