प्रीतो5स्मि तव राजेन्द्र वरश्न प्रतिगृह्मताम्‌ । “राजन! अब मुझे विदा दो। मैं जैसे आया था, वैसे ही लौट जाऊँगा। राजेन्द्र! मैं तुमपर बहुत प्रसन्न हूँ; अतः तुम कोई वर माँगो”

bhīṣma uvāca | prīto ’smi tava rājendra varaś ca pratigṛhyatām |

بھیشم نے کہا—اے راجندر! میں تم سے بہت خوش ہوں؛ لہٰذا ایک ور قبول کرو۔ اب مجھے رخصت دو؛ میں جیسے آیا تھا ویسے ہی لوٹ جاؤں گا۔
