तैर्वृतः कुशिको राजा श्रिया परमया ज्वलन्‌ । प्रविवेश पुर हृष्ट: पूज्यमानो5थ बन्दिभि:,उनसे घिरे हुए राजा कुशिक उत्कृष्ट तेजसे प्रकाशित हो रहे थे। उन्होंने बड़े हर्षके साथ नगरमें प्रवेश किया। उस समय वन्दीजन उनके गुण गा रहे थे

tair vṛtaḥ kuśiko rājā śriyā paramayā jvalan | praviveśa pura hṛṣṭaḥ pūjyamāno 'tha bandibhiḥ ||

ان کے گھیرے میں کُشِک راجا پرم شری سے درخشاں تھا۔ وہ بڑی مسرت کے ساتھ نگر میں داخل ہوا؛ اس وقت وندیجن اس کی خوبیوں کا گیت گا کر اس کی تعظیم کر رہے تھے۔
