गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

सर्वानिपायानथ सम्प्रधार्य समुद्धरेत् स्वस्य कुलस्य तन््त्रम् । ज्येष्ठो यवीयानपि यो द्विजस्य शुश्रूषया दानपरायण: स्यात्
sarvān upāyān atha sampradhārya samuddharet svasya kulasya tantram | jyeṣṭho yavīyān api yo dvijasya śuśrūṣayā dānaparāyaṇaḥ syāt |
بھیشم نے کہا—تمام تدبیروں کو خوب پرکھ کر انسان کو اپنے خاندان کی روایت اور نظام کو سنبھالنا اور بحال کرنا چاہیے۔ جو دو بار جنم لینے والی جماعتوں سے باہر ہے، وہ عمر میں بڑا ہو تب بھی برہمن، کشتریہ اور ویشیہ کے مقابلے میں کم تر ہی سمجھا جاتا ہے؛ اس لیے اسے تین اعلیٰ ورنوں کی خدمت کرتے ہوئے سخاوت میں ثابت قدم رہنا چاہیے۔
