त्वमेव दैवतै: सर्वे: पृच्छयसे धर्मसंशयात् । अतत्त्वं देवदेवानामाधिपत्ये प्रतिष्ठित:,“धर्मके विषयमें संशय होनेपर सब देवता आपसे ही अपना संदेह पूछते हैं। इसीलिये आप देवाधिदेवोंके अधिपति पदपर प्रतिष्ठित हैं
tvam eva daivataiḥ sarvaiḥ pṛcchyase dharma-saṁśayāt | atattvaṁ deva-devānām ādhipatye pratiṣṭhitaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—جب دھرم کے بارے میں شک پیدا ہوتا ہے تو سب دیوتا تم ہی سے پوچھتے ہیں۔ اسی لیے تم دیوتاؤں کے بھی دیوتاؤں پر حاکمانہ منصب میں ثابت و قائم ہو—جو حق و باطل کی تمیز رکھتا ہے۔
