Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ
Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra
अन्येडपि बहवो वृक्षा: पत्रसंच्छन्नकोटरा: । शुभा: पर्याप्तसंचारा विद्यन्तेडस्मिन् महावने,“इस विशाल वनमें और भी बहुत-से वृक्ष हैं जिनके खोखले हरे-हरे पत्तोंसे आच्छादित हैं, जो सुन्दर हैं तथा जिनपर पक्षियोंके संचारके लिये योग्य पर्याप्त स्थान हैं
anye 'pi bahavo vṛkṣāḥ patra-saṁchanna-koṭarāḥ | śubhāḥ paryāpta-saṁcārā vidyante 'smin mahāvane ||
“اس عظیم جنگل میں اور بھی بہت سے درخت ہیں جن کے کھوکھلے حصے گھنے پتّوں سے ڈھکے ہیں۔ وہ خوبصورت ہیں اور پرندوں کی آمدورفت اور بسیرا کے لیے کافی جگہ رکھتے ہیں۔”
