मेने दिविष्ठमात्मानं तुष्टया परमया युत:ः । शुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले उन ऋषि-मुनियोंकी बातें सुनकर भीष्मजी बहुत संतुष्ट हुए और अपनेको स्वर्गमें ही स्थित मानने लगे
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: mene divi-stham ātmānaṃ tuṣṭyā paramayā yutaḥ.
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—اعلیٰ ترین اطمینان سے یُکت بھیشم نے اپنے آپ کو گویا پہلے ہی سُورگ میں مقیم سمجھا۔ پاکیزہ باطن رِشیوں کے کلمات سن کر وہ نہایت مسرور و مطمئن ہو گیا۔
