Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
वेदविक्रयिणश्रैव वेदानां चैव दूषका: । वेदानां लेखकाश्रैव ते वै निरयगामिन:,जो वेद बेचते हैं, वेदोंकी निन्दा करते हैं और विक्रयके लिये ही वेदोंके मन्त्र लिखते हैं, वे भी निश्चय ही नरकगामी होते हैं
bhīṣma uvāca | vedavikrayiṇaś caiva vedānāṃ caiva dūṣakāḥ | vedānāṃ lekhakāś caiva te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—جو وید کو بیچتے ہیں، جو ویدوں کی توہین یا تحریف کرتے ہیں، اور جو محض تجارت کی خاطر ویدی منتر لکھتے ہیں—وہ بھی یقیناً دوزخ کے گامی ہیں۔
