Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
अकल्ककस्य विप्रस्य रौक्ष्यात् करकृतात्मन: । वटवो यस्य भिक्षन्ति तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम्
akalkakasya viprasya raukṣyāt karakṛtātmanaḥ | vaṭavo yasya bhikṣanti tebhyo dattaṃ mahāphalam ||
بھیشم نے کہا—جب کوئی بےفریب برہمن سخت تنگ دستی کے باعث کڑا ہو چکا ہو، اور اس کے ہاتھ میں ذرا سا اناج آتے ہی اس کے بھوکے بچے فوراً “مجھے دو، مجھے دو” کہہ کر مانگنے لگیں—تو ایسے برہمن اور ان بچوں کو دیا گیا دان عظیم روحانی پھل دیتا ہے۔
