तीर्थवंशोपदेशः

Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters

लड़घितं चावलीढं च कलिपूर्व च यत्‌ कृतम्‌ रजस्वलाभिदृष्टं च तं भागं रक्षसां विदु:,जिस भोज्य पदार्थको किसीने लाँघ दिया हो, चाट लिया हो, जो लड़ाई-झगड़ा करके तैयार किया गया हो तथा जिसपर रजस्वला स्त्रीकी दृष्टि पड़ी हो, उसे भी राक्षसोंका ही भाग माना गया है

bhīṣma uvāca | laṅghitaṃ cāvalīḍhaṃ ca kalipūrvaṃ ca yat kṛtam | rajasvalābhidṛṣṭaṃ ca taṃ bhāgaṃ rakṣasāṃ viduḥ ||

بھیشم نے کہا—جو کھانا کسی نے پھلانگ دیا ہو، چاٹ لیا ہو، جھگڑے اور فساد کے بیچ تیار کیا گیا ہو، یا جس پر حائضہ عورت کی نظر پڑ گئی ہو—اسے راکشسوں کا حصہ سمجھا جاتا ہے۔
