Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
क्रियमाणे5पवर्गे च यो द्विजो भरतर्षभ । न व्याहरति यद्युक्त तस्याधर्मो गवानृतम्
kriyamāṇe ’pavarge ca yo dvijo bharatarṣabha | na vyāharati yadyuktaṃ tasyādharmo gavānṛtam ||
بھیشم نے کہا— اے بھرت شریشٹھ! جب اپورگ (موکش دینے والا) کرم انجام دیا جا رہا ہو، اس وقت جو دْوِج (دو بار جنما) مناسب اور مقررہ کلمات ادا نہیں کرتا، تو وہ کوتاہی اس کے لیے ادھرم بن جاتی ہے—گائے کے بارے میں جھوٹی قسم کے برابر سنگین گناہ۔
