अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
जो ब्राह्मण ऊपर बताये हुए गुणोंसे युक्त होते हैं, उन्हें दिया हुआ दान महान् फल देनेवाला है। गुणवान् एवं सुयोग्य पात्रको दान देनेवाला दाता सहसख्रगुना फल पाता है ।।
prajñāśrutābhyāṁ vṛttena śīlena ca samanvitaḥ | tārayet kulaṁ sarvam eko 'pīha dvijarṣabhaḥ ||
بھیشم کہتے ہیں—پہلے بیان کردہ اوصاف سے آراستہ برہمن کو دیا گیا دان مہا پھل دیتا ہے، اور جو داتا گُণوان اور موزوں پاتر کو دان دیتا ہے وہ ہزار گنا پھل پاتا ہے۔ اگر عمدہ عقل، شاستروں کی سماعت سے حاصل علم، نیک چلن اور خوش خُلقی سے یکتہ ایک دْوِجَرشبھ بھی یہاں دان قبول کر لے تو وہ داتا کے پورے کُلن (خاندان) کا اُدھّار کر دیتا ہے۔
