सौम्या गौ: सुरभियद्देवी विश्रवाश्व महानृषि: । संकल्प: सागरो गजड्जा स्रवन्त्यो5थ मरुद्गण:
bhīṣma uvāca |
saumyā gauḥ surabhir yad devī viśravāś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ |
saṅkalpaḥ sāgaraḥ gaṅgādyāḥ sravantyo 'tha marudgaṇaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—اس مقدّس ناموں کی سلسلہ وار فہرست میں نرم خو دیوی سُرَبھی گائے، مہارشی وِشْرَوا، سنکلپ (ارادے کی قوت)، ساگر، گنگا وغیرہ بہتی ندیاں اور مَرُتوں کے گروہ بھی مذکور ہیں۔
