नतु वक्षिन्नयेत् प्राज्ञो गृहीत्वैव करे नरम् । उच्यमानस्तु धर्मेण धर्मलोकभयच्छले
na tu vakṣy nayed prājño gṛhītvāiva kare naram | ucyamānas tu dharmeṇa dharmalokabhayacchale ||
بھیشم نے کہا—کوئی کتنا ہی دانا ہو، وہ کسی انسان کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر اسے زبردستی دھرم کے راستے پر نہیں چلا سکتا۔ مگر انصاف کے مطابق دھرم کی بات کہہ کر، اور عوامی ملامت کے خوف کو بھی سہارا بنا کر، وہ اسے نیک عمل کی طرف آمادہ کر سکتا ہے۔
