वायुदेव उवाच हन्त ते कीर्तयिष्यामि नमस्कृत्य कपर्दिने । यदवाप्तं मया राजन्‌ श्रेयो यच्चार्जितं यश:

Transliteration

vāyudeva uvāca hanta te kīrtayiṣyāmi namaskṛtya kapardine | yad avāptaṃ mayā rājan śreyo yac cārjitaṃ yaśaḥ ||

Translation

وایودیو نے کہا—اے راجن! جٹاجوٹ دھاری کپردین (شیو) کو سجدۂ تعظیم کر کے میں تمہیں بیان کرتا ہوں کہ میں نے کون سا اعلیٰ خیر حاصل کیا اور کون سی شہرت کمائی۔
