अथागम्य महाराज नमस्कृत्य च कश्यपम्‌ | पृथिवी काश्यपी जज्ञे सुता तस्य महात्मन:

Transliteration

athāgamya mahārāja namaskṛtya ca kaśyapam | pṛthivī kāśyapī jajñe sutā tasya mahātmanaḥ ||

Translation

اے مہاراج! پھر زمین برہملوک سے لوٹ آئی اور اُس مہاتما کشیپ کو سجدۂ تعظیم کرکے اُن کی بیٹی بن کر رہنے لگی۔ اسی وقت سے اس کا نام کاشیپی پڑ گیا۔
