अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
ऋषीणामभिगम्यश्न सूत्रकर्ता सुतस्तव । मत्प्रसादाद् द्विजश्रेष्ठ भविष्यति न संशय:
ṛṣīṇām abhigamyaśna sūtrakartā sutas tava | matprasādād dvijaśreṣṭha bhaviṣyati na saṁśayaḥ ||
تمہارا بیٹا رِشیوں کے پاس جا کر خدمت کرے گا اور سُوتر رچنے والا ہوگا۔ میرے فضل سے وہ دُوِجوں میں سب سے برتر ہوگا—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔
