ayaṁ brahmādibhiḥ siddhair guhāyāṁ gopitaḥ prabhuḥ | devāsura-manuṣyāṇām aprakāśo bhaved iti ||
The Supreme is not an object of ordinary perception; He is ‘hidden’ in the inner heart and is realized through inner purification and disciplined insight rather than through external power, rank, or mere intellectual inquiry.
Vāyu speaks about the Lord’s hiddenness: even exalted beings like gods, demons, and humans may fail to recognize Him, while Brahmā and perfected sages are portrayed as safeguarding this profound truth within the ‘cave’ of the heart.
