त्वया च विपुलं राज्यं बल॑ धर्म श्रुतं तथा । दत्तात्रेयप्रसादेन प्राप्त परमदुर्लभम्
tvayā ca vipulaṃ rājyaṃ balaṃ dharma-śrutaṃ tathā | dattātreya-prasādena prāptaṃ paramadurlabham ||
ارجن نے کہا—اور تمہیں بھی جو نہایت دشوارالْحُصول وسیع سلطنت، قوت، دھرم اور شاستروں کا علم ملا ہے، وہ سب بزرگ رِشی دتّاتریہ کے فضل و کرم ہی سے حاصل ہوا ہے۔
अजुन उवाच
Worldly attainments—kingdom and strength—are presented as truly rare and valuable when accompanied by dharma-knowledge, and all are attributed to the grace of a realized sage (Dattātreya), emphasizing humility, gratitude, and the ethical grounding of power.
Arjuna addresses the listener and acknowledges that the listener’s exceptional gains—sovereignty, power, and dharmic/scriptural learning—were made possible through Dattātreya’s favor, highlighting the role of spiritual patronage in righteous success.
