ते पूज्यास्ते नमस्कार्या वर्तेथास्तेषु पुत्रवत् । ते हि लोकानिमान् सर्वान् धारयन्ति मनीषिण:,अत: ब्राह्मणोंकी पूजा करे। ब्राह्मणोंको नमस्कार करे। उनके प्रति वैसा ही बर्ताव करे, जैसा सुयोग्य पुत्र अपने पिताके प्रति करता है; क्योंकि मनीषी ब्राह्मण इन सब लोकोंको धारण करते हैं
te pūjyās te namaskāryā varte thās teṣu putravat | te hi lokān imān sarvān dhārayanti manīṣiṇaḥ ||
وہی قابلِ پرستش و تعظیم ہیں، وہی نمسکار کے لائق ہیں۔ ان کے ساتھ ایسا برتاؤ کرو جیسے نیک بیٹا اپنے باپ کے ساتھ کرتا ہے؛ کیونکہ دانا برہمن ہی ان تمام لوکوں کو سنبھالے اور قائم رکھے ہوئے ہیں۔
