अमृतांशूद्धवो भानु: शशबिन्दु: सुरेश्वर: । औषध॑ जगत: सेतु: सत्यधर्मपराक्रम:,२८३ अमृतांशूद्धव:-समुद्रमन्थन करते समय चन्द्रमाको उत्पन्न करनेवाले, २८४ भानु:-भासनेवाले, २८५ शशबिन्दु:-खरगोशके समान चिह्नवाले चन्द्रस्वरूप, २८६ सुरेश्वर:-देवताओंके ईश्वर, २०७ औषधम्-संसाररोगको मिटानेके लिये औषधरूप, २८८ जगत: सेतु:-संसार-सागरको पार करानेके लिये सेतुरूप, २८९ सत्यधर्मपराक्रम:- सत्यस्वरूप धर्म और पराक्रमवाले
bhīṣma uvāca | amṛtāṃśūdbhavo bhānuḥ śaśabinduḥ sureśvaraḥ | auṣadhaṃ jagataḥ setuḥ satyadharmaparākramaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا: وہی وہ درخشاں ہستی ہے جس نے امرت بردار چاند کو ظاہر کیا؛ وہی چمکتا ہوا سورج ہے؛ وہی خرگوش کے نشان والا چاند ہے؛ اور وہی دیوتاؤں کا پروردگار ہے۔ وہی دنیا کے لیے شفا بخش دوا ہے، سنسار کے سمندر سے پار اتارنے والا پل ہے، اور وہی ہے جس کی قوت سچ اور دھرم میں قائم ہے۔
