न क्रोधो न च मात्सर्य न लोभो नाशुभा मति: । भवन्ति कृतपुण्यानां भक्तानां पुरुषोत्तमे
na krodho na ca mātsaryaṁ na lobho nāśubhā matiḥ | bhavanti kṛta-puṇyānāṁ bhaktānāṁ puruṣottame ||
جن نیک بخت بھکتوں کی بھکتی پُروشوتم میں ثابت ہے، ان میں نہ غصہ پیدا ہوتا ہے، نہ حسد، نہ لالچ؛ اور ان کی بُدھی کبھی اَشُبھ کی طرف نہیں جاتی۔
भीष्म उवाच
True devotion to Puruṣottama, supported by accumulated merit and right conduct, naturally weakens and removes inner vices—anger, envy, and greed—and keeps the intellect from turning toward impure or harmful aims.
