Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
नहि नः सा रति: स्वर्गे या च त्वद्दर्शने विभो । तदृतं च महाबाहो यदाह भगवान् भव:
nahi naḥ sā ratiḥ svarge yā ca tvaddarśane vibho | tad ṛtaṃ ca mahābāho yad āha bhagavān bhavaḥ ||
اے صاحبِ جلال! تمہارے درشن میں جو لذت و عقیدت ہمیں ملتی ہے، وہ ہمیں سَورگ میں بھی نہیں۔ اے مہاباہو! بھگوان بھوَ (شیو) نے جو فرمایا تھا، وہ بالکل سچ ثابت ہوا۔
