ब्राह्मण्यं देवि सम्प्राप्य रक्षितव्यं यतात्मना । योनिप्रतिग्रहादानै: कर्मभिश्न शुचिस्मिते

Transliteration

brāhmaṇyaṁ devi samprāpya rakṣitavyaṁ yatātmanā | yonipratigrahadānaiḥ karmabhiś ca śucismite ||

Translation

مہیشور نے کہا—اے دیوی! برہمنیت حاصل ہو جانے کے بعد اسے ضبطِ نفس کے ساتھ محفوظ رکھنا چاہیے۔ اے پاکیزہ مسکراہٹ والی! نسب و سیرت کی پاکیزگی، عطایا قبول کرنے (پرتیگرہ) کی پاکیزگی، دینے کی پاکیزگی اور نیک اعمال کے ذریعے اس برہمنیت کی حفاظت ہوتی ہے۔
