धर्मनिन्दा–धर्मोपासनाफलम् तथा साध्वाचारलक्षणम्

संहिताध्यायिना भाव्य॑ गृहे वै गृहमेधिना । नित्यं स्वाध्यायिना भाव्यं न चाध्ययनजीविना

Transliteration

saṃhitādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ gṛhe vai gṛhamedhinā | nityaṃ svādhyāyinā bhāvyaṃ na ca adhyayanajīvinā ||

Translation

مہیشور نے کہا—گھر میں رہنے والا گِرہستھ سنہتا کے مطالعے اور منضبط سْوادھیائے میں لگا رہے۔ وہ روزانہ خود مطالعہ کرے، مگر علم کو محض روزی کا ذریعہ نہ بنائے۔
