धर्मनिन्दा–धर्मोपासनाफलम् तथा साध्वाचारलक्षणम्

Fruits of Disparaging vs. Observing Dharma; Marks of Good Conduct

क्षत्रियो वा महाभागे वैश्यो वा धर्मचारिणि । स्वानि कर्माण्यपाहाय शूद्रकर्म निषेवते

kṣatriyo vā mahābhāge vaiśyo vā dharmacāriṇi | svāni karmāṇy apāhāya śūdrakarma niṣevate ||

مہیشور نے کہا—اے نیک بخت خاتون، اے دھرم پر چلنے والی! خواہ وہ کشتری ہو یا ویشیہ، اگر وہ اپنے مقررہ فرائض چھوڑ کر شودر کا کام اختیار کرے تو اپنے مقام سے چیوَت ہو کر ورن-سنکر کا سبب بنتا ہے اور اگلے جنم میں شودر یونی میں پیدا ہوتا ہے۔ ایسا آچرن کرنے والا—برہمن ہو، کشتری ہو یا ویشیہ—شودر بھاؤ کو پہنچتا ہے۔
