सर्वभूतानुकम्पी यः सर्वभूतार्जवव्रत: । सर्वभूतात्मभूतश्न स वै धर्मेण युज्यते,जो सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंपर दया करता है, सबके साथ सरलताका बर्ताव करता और समस्त भूतोंको आत्मभावसे देखता है, वही धर्मके फलसे युक्त होता है

Transliteration

sarvabhūtānukampī yaḥ sarvabhūtārjavavrataḥ | sarvabhūtātma-bhūtaś ca sa vai dharmeṇa yujyate ||

Translation

مہیشور نے کہا—جو شخص تمام جانداروں پر رحم کرتا ہے، سب کے ساتھ راست روی (سادگی و صداقت) کا عہد نبھاتا ہے، اور تمام بھوتوں کو اپنے ہی نفس کے بھاؤ سے دیکھتا ہے—وہی حقیقتاً دھرم کے ساتھ یکتا ہوتا ہے اور اس کے پھل کا حق دار بنتا ہے۔
