ममैवानुचरो नित्यं भवितासीति चाब्रवीत् | तथा पुत्रसहस्राणामयुतं च ददौ प्रभु:,भगवानने उसे यह भी वर दिया था कि “तुम मेरे नित्य पार्षद हो जाओगे” साथ ही उन प्रभुने उसे सहस्र अयुत (एक करोड़) पुत्र प्रदान किये
mamaivānucaro nityaṃ bhavitāsīti cābravīt | tathā putrasahasrāṇām ayutaṃ ca dadau prabhuḥ ||
اس نے یہ بھی فرمایا—“تو ہمیشہ میرا ہی انوچر (پارشد) رہے گا”; اور اس پروردگار نے اسے ہزاروں کا اَیُت—یعنی ایک کروڑ—بیٹوں کی نعمت بھی عطا کی۔
वासुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical-religious ideal that steadfast service and devotion are honored by the Lord with enduring spiritual proximity (“eternal attendant”) and worldly flourishing (vast progeny). It frames divine reward as both intimate relationship and tangible prosperity.
Vāsudeva recounts that the Lord granted a boon: the recipient would become His perpetual attendant, and additionally received an enormous number of sons—described as an ayuta of thousands—marking extraordinary divine favor.
