अग्निकार्येषु वै तेषां हव्यं नाश्नाति पावक: । जो प्रज्वलित यज्ञाग्निमें समिधाकी आहुति नहीं देते
agnikāryeṣu vai teṣāṃ havyaṃ nāśnāti pāvakaḥ |
شکر نے کہا—جو لوگ آگ سے متعلق واجبات میں کوتاہی کرتے ہیں، پاؤک ان کی ہویہ (نذر) قبول نہیں کرتا۔ جو جلتی ہوئی یَجْن آگ میں سَمِدھا کی آہُتی نہیں دیتے، ان کے اگنی ہوتْر میں اگنی دیو ہَوِشْیَہ قبول نہیں کرتے؛ اس لیے آگ کو باقاعدہ روشن کرکے ہی آہُتی دینی چاہیے۔
