Ahiṃsā as Threefold Restraint (Mind–Speech–Action) and the Ethics of Consumption

असंवासा: प्रजायन्ते म्लेच्छाश्वापि न संशय: । नरा: पापसमाचारा लोभमोहसमन्विता:

asaṁvāsāḥ prajāyante mlecchāś cāpi na saṁśayaḥ | narāḥ pāpasamācārā lobhamohasamanvitāḥ ||

حرص و فریب میں مبتلا بدکردار لوگوں کے سبب ایسے لوگ پیدا ہوتے ہیں جنہیں نہ ٹھکانہ نصیب ہوتا ہے نہ مناسب سماجی وابستگی؛ وہ مِلِیچھ حالت کو بھی پہنچتے ہیں—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔
