श्रीरवाच वसामि नित्यं सुभगे प्रगल्भे दक्षे नरे कर्मणि वर्तमाने | अक्रोधने देवपरे कृतज्ञे जितेन्द्रिये नित्यमुदीर्णसत्त्वे

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca: vasāmi nityaṃ subhage pragalbhe dakṣe nare karmaṇi vartamāne | akrodhane devapare kṛtajñe jitendriye nityam udīrṇasattve ||

Translation

شری (لکشمی) نے فرمایا—اے دیوی! میں ہمیشہ اسی مرد میں سکونت کرتی ہوں جو خوش نصیب، دلیر، کاردان اور نیک و درست عمل میں مشغول ہو؛ جو بے غضب، دیوتاؤں کا پرستار، شکر گزار، ضبطِ نفس والا اور بلند سَتْو (صفائے باطن) سے آراستہ ہو۔
