Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
प्रत्यक्ष भिन्नहृदया भेदयेयु: कृतं नरा: । श्रियाभितप्ता: कौन्तेय भेदकामास्तथारय:
pratyakṣa-bhinnahṛdayā bhedayeyuḥ kṛtaṃ narāḥ | śriyābhitaptāḥ kaunteya bhedakāmās tathārayāḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—اگر بڑا بھائی کھلے عام خطا کی سزا دے تو چھوٹے بھائیوں کے دل چیر جاتے ہیں اور وہ اس سخت سلوک کی بات لوگوں میں پھیلا دیتے ہیں۔ پھر ان کی خوشحالی دیکھ کر حسد میں جلنے والے بہت سے دشمن، اے کونتی کے بیٹے، ان کے درمیان پھوٹ ڈالنے کی خواہش کرنے لگتے ہیں۔
