Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
न गुरावकृतप्रज्ञे शक््यं शिष्येण वर्तितुम् । गुरोहिं दीर्घदर्शित्वं यत् तच्छिष्यस्य भारत
bhīṣma uvāca | na gurāv akṛtaprajñe śakyaṃ śiṣyeṇa vartitum | guroḥ hi dīrghadarśitvaṃ yat tac chiṣyasya bhārata |
بھیشم نے کہا—جس گرو یا بڑے کی سمجھ پختہ نہ ہو، اس کے ضبط و نظم کے تحت شاگرد یا چھوٹا بھائی درست طور پر نہیں رہ سکتا۔ اے بھارت، گرو کی جو دوراندیشی ہوتی ہے، وہی صفت شاگرد میں بھی جھلکتی ہے؛ جب بڑا سچ مچ دوراندیش ہو تو چھوٹا بھی دوراندیش بن جاتا ہے۔
