उपवासविधि-प्रश्नः
Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
दशाचार्यानुपाध्याय उपाध्यायान् पिता दश
daśācāryān upādhyāyaḥ, upādhyāyān pitā daśa; gauraveṇa daśa pitṝn atikrāmati mātā; mātā hi svagauraveṇa pṛthivīm api tiraskaroti; tasmān mātṛsamo nānyo guruḥ.
وقار میں دس آچاریوں سے بڑھ کر اُپادھیائے ہے، دس اُپادھیاؤں سے بڑھ کر باپ ہے، اور دس باپوں سے بڑھ کر ماں ہے۔ ماں اپنی عظمت کے بوجھ سے گویا پوری زمین کو بھی ماند کر دیتی ہے؛ اس لیے ماں کے برابر کوئی گرو نہیں۔
