पुत्रा: प्रदेया ज्ञानेषु कुलधर्मेषु भारत । भारत! उसके गर्भसे संतान उत्पन्न करके वंश-परम्पराको प्रतिष्ठित करे और ज्ञान तथा कुलधर्मकी शिक्षा पानेके लिये पुत्रोंको गुरुके आश्रममें भेज दे ।।
putrāḥ pradeyā jñāneṣu kuladharmeṣu bhārata | kanyā cotpādya dātavyā kulaputrāya dhīmate ||
اے بھارت! بیٹوں کو مقدس علم اور خاندانی دھرم کی تعلیم کے لیے گرو کے آشرم کے سپرد کرنا چاہیے؛ اور اگر بیٹی پیدا ہو تو اسے اچھے خاندان کے دانا اور لائق نوجوان کے ساتھ نکاح میں دینا چاہیے۔
