तत्र तौ कथयन्तौ स्तां कथा नानाविधाश्रया: । ब्रद्मर्षिदेवदैत्यानां पुराणानां महात्मनाम्‌,वहाँ वे दोनों ब्रह्मर्षियों, देवताओं, दैत्यों तथा प्राचीन महात्माओंके सम्बन्धमें नाना प्रकारकी कथा-वार्ता करने लगे

tatra tau kathayantau stāṃ kathā nānāvidhāśrayāḥ | brahmarṣidevadaityānāṃ purāṇānāṃ mahātmanām ||

وہاں وہ دونوں طرح طرح کی باتیں کرنے لگے— برہمرشیوں، دیوتاؤں، دیتیوں اور قدیم زمانے کے مہاتماؤں کی پورانک حکایات کے بارے میں۔
