Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
गृह्नन्ति देवता नित्यमाशंसन्ति सदा गृहान् । बाह्याश्षागन्तवो येडन्ये यक्षराक्षसपन्नगा:
gṛhṇanti devatā nityam āśaṃsanti sadā gṛhān | bāhyāś cāgantavo ye 'nye yakṣa-rākṣasa-pannagāḥ ||
شُکر نے کہا—گھریلو (گِرہستھ) کے دیے ہوئے نذرانے اور بلیاں دیوتا ہمیشہ قبول کرتے ہیں اور اس کے گھر کو برابر برکت دیتے ہیں۔ اسی طرح باہر سے آنے والے دوسرے مہمان اور یَکش، راکشس اور سانپ وغیرہ بھی اسی گھریلو کے کھانے پر گزارا کرتے ہیں۔ اس سہارے اور مہمان نوازی سے خوش ہو کر وہ گھریلو کو درازیِ عمر، ناموری اور دولت عطا کر کے راضی کرتے ہیں۔
