पितृन्‌ संतर्पयित्वा तु बलिं कुर्याद्‌ विधानतः । वैश्वदेवं ततः कुर्यात्‌ पश्चाद्‌ ब्राह्यगवाचनम्‌

Transliteration

pitṝn santarpayitvā tu baliṁ kuryād vidhānataḥ | vaiśvadevaṁ tataḥ kuryāt paścād brāhyagavācanam ||

Translation

پہلے مقررہ طریقے سے پِتروں کو ترپن دے کر سیر کرے، پھر ضابطے کے مطابق بَلی پیش کرے۔ اس کے بعد ویشودیو کا کرم بجا لائے، اور آخر میں برہمنی ودیا کا سوادھیائے اور تعلیم و تلقین کرے—یوں گِرہستھ دھرم کا ترتیب وار اہتمام ہوتا ہے۔
