Householder Duties and Daily Offerings

अग्नीषोमं वैश्वदेवं धान्वन्तर्यमनन्तरम्‌ । प्रजानां पतये चैव पृथग्घोमो विधीयते,पहले अग्नि और सोमको, फिर विश्वेदेवोंको, तदनन्तर धन्वन्तरिको, तत्पश्चात्‌ प्रजापतिको पृथक्‌-पृथक्‌ आहुति देनेका विधान है

agnīṣomaṃ vaiśvadevaṃ dhānvantaryam anantaram | prajānāṃ pataye caiva pṛthag homo vidhīyate ||

ہون کے عمل میں جدا جدا آہوتیوں کا حکم ہے—پہلے اگنی اور سوم کو ساتھ، پھر وشویدیَووں کو، اس کے بعد دھنونتری کو، اور پھر پرجاپتی کو (مخلوقات کے پالک کو) الگ آہوتی دی جاتی ہے۔
