वैशम्पायन उवाच ते तमाज्ञाय तत्त्वेन पुनरागम्य पाण्डवा: | यथावृत्तं वने सर्व द्रोणायाचख्युरद्भुतम्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन! वे पाण्डवलोग उस निषादका यथार्थ परिचय पाकर लौट आये और वनमें जो अद्भुत घटना घटी थी, वह सब उन्होंने द्रोणाचार्यसे कह सुनायी
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: te tam ājñāya tattvena punar āgamya pāṇḍavāḥ | yathāvṛttaṃ vane sarvaṃ droṇāyācakhyur adbhutam ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—اے راجن! اس نِشاد کی حقیقت جان کر پانڈو واپس لوٹے؛ اور جنگل میں جو عجیب واقعہ پیش آیا تھا، اسے جوں کا توں درون آچاریہ کو تفصیل سے سنا دیا۔
