विष्णुचक्रलाभो नाम (अर्धनारीश्वर-तत्त्वं, सती-पार्वती-सम्भवः, दक्षयज्ञविनाशः)

संभवं च महादेव्याः प्राह तेषां महात्मनाम् सूत उवाच ब्रह्मणा कथितं पूर्वं दण्डिने तत् सुविस्तरम्

saṃbhavaṃ ca mahādevyāḥ prāha teṣāṃ mahātmanām sūta uvāca brahmaṇā kathitaṃ pūrvaṃ daṇḍine tat suvistaram

پھر پُرانوں کے بہترین جاننے والے سوت نے اُن مہاتما رشیوں سے مہادیوی کے ظہور کا بیان کیا۔ سوت نے کہا—یہی حکایت پہلے برہما نے دَندی کو نہایت تفصیل سے سنائی تھی۔
