Shloka 11

योगान्तरायाः, औपसर्गिकसिद्धयः, परवैराग्येन शैवप्रसादः

तदा मनसि संजातं दौर्मनस्यमिति स्मृतम् हठात्स्वीकरणं कृत्वा योग्यायोग्यविवेकतः

tadā manasi saṃjātaṃ daurmanasyamiti smṛtam haṭhātsvīkaraṇaṃ kṛtvā yogyāyogyavivekataḥ

تب دل و ذہن میں جو کیفیت پیدا ہوتی ہے اسے ‘دَورمَنَسْیَ’ یعنی افسردگی کہا گیا ہے۔ جب آدمی مناسب و نامناسب کی تمیز چھوڑ کر زبردستی قبول کر لے تو یہی حالت جنم لیتی ہے۔

Pāśupata-oriented viveka (discriminative awareness) and restraint: do not accept vows, acts, or offerings impulsively; choose what is yogya for sādhana to prevent inner dejection and maintain tapas and pūjā-niyama.
