Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya)
It frames worship and praise as a direct approach to Pati (Śiva) for paśupāśa-vimokṣaṇa—showing that devotion to Śiva is oriented toward liberation of the soul from bondage, not merely worldly boons.
Śiva appears as Śitikaṇṭha, the compassionate Lord addressed as the liberator: the supreme Pati who alone can remove pāśas (bondages) from the paśu (finite self) through grace.
Devotional prostration and stuti (hymnic praise) culminating in vijñapti (formal supplication) to Śiva—an inner posture aligned with Pāśupata orientation toward release from pāśa.
