Adhyaya 79 — Bhakti-Mahima and Linga-Archana-Vidhi
Condensed Ritual Sequence
पूजितं वा महादेवं पूज्यमानमथापि वा दृष्ट्वा प्रयाति वै मर्त्यो ब्रह्मलोकं न संशयः
pūjitaṃ vā mahādevaṃ pūjyamānamathāpi vā dṛṣṭvā prayāti vai martyo brahmalokaṃ na saṃśayaḥ
مہادیو کی پوجا ہو چکی ہو یا ہو رہی ہو—اس پوجا کو صرف دیکھ لینے سے بھی انسان بے شک و شبہ برہملوک کو پہنچتا ہے۔

It teaches that even indirect participation—simply witnessing Mahādeva’s worship—generates great puṇya, affirming the exceptional efficacy of Śiva/Liṅga-pūjā in the Linga Purana.
Śiva is implied as Pati, the supreme bestower of grace: His worship is so potent that mere darśana of it elevates the pashu beyond ordinary karmic limits toward higher loka-attainment.
It highlights pūjā and darśana-bhakti—reverent seeing of Śiva’s worship—as a simple but powerful practice aligned with Shaiva devotion, supporting purification of the pashu from pāśa (bondage).
