Adhyaya 79 — Bhakti-Mahima and Linga-Archana-Vidhi

Condensed Ritual Sequence

शमीपुष्पैर् बृहत्पुष्पैर् उन्मत्तागस्त्यजैरपि अपामार्गकदम्बैश् च भूषणैरपि शोभनैः

śamīpuṣpair bṛhatpuṣpair unmattāgastyajairapi apāmārgakadambaiś ca bhūṣaṇairapi śobhanaiḥ

شمی کے پھولوں، بڑے پھولوں، اُنمَتّا اور اگستیہ کے پھولوں سے، نیز اپامارگ اور کدمب کے پھولوں سے اور خوبصورت زیورات کے ساتھ شِو لِنگ کو آراستہ کرے۔ یوں پاش میں بندھے پشو کو رہائی دینے والے پتی (شیو) کی پوجا نہایت شاندار ہوتی ہے۔
