Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्
ते परिग्राहिणः सर्वे संविभागरताः पुनः स्वादनाश् चाप्यशीलाश् च ज्ञेया भूतादिकाश् च ते
te parigrāhiṇaḥ sarve saṃvibhāgaratāḥ punaḥ svādanāś cāpyaśīlāś ca jñeyā bhūtādikāś ca te
وہ سب کے سب مال و متاع کے حریص ہیں؛ پھر تقسیم و بانٹ میں لگے رہتے ہیں۔ ذائقوں کے اسیر اور بےشعورِ آداب—انہیں بھوتادی (تامسی) طبقہ سمجھو۔
