वंशानुवर्णनम् — सात्वतवंशः, स्यमन्तक-प्रसङ्गः, कृष्णावतारः, शिवप्रसादः (पाशुपतयोगः)
इति श्रीलिङ्गमहापुराणे पूर्वभागे वंशानुवर्णनं नामाष्टषष्टितमो ऽध्यायः सूत उवाच सात्वतः सत्यसम्पन्नः प्रजज्ञे चतुरः सुतान् भजनं भ्राजमानं च दिव्यं देवावृधं नृपम्
iti śrīliṅgamahāpurāṇe pūrvabhāge vaṃśānuvarṇanaṃ nāmāṣṭaṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ sūta uvāca sātvataḥ satyasampannaḥ prajajñe caturaḥ sutān bhajanaṃ bhrājamānaṃ ca divyaṃ devāvṛdhaṃ nṛpam
یوں شری لِنگ مہاپُران کے پُروَ بھاگ میں “وَمشانوَرنَن” نام کا انہترویں ادھیائے۔ سوت نے کہا—سچائی سے بھرپور ساتوت نے چار بیٹے پیدا کیے: بھجن، بھراجمان، دیویہ اور راجا دیواوِردھ۔
