śaśabindostu putrāṇāṃ sahasrāṇāmabhūcchatam śaṃsanti tasya putrāṇām anantakam anuttamam
Suta
Though not a direct linga-pūjā instruction, it preserves the vamśa (lineage) framework through which Shaiva dharma and Shiva-bhakti are transmitted across generations.
Indirectly, it reflects Shiva-tattva as the sustaining Pati behind orderly creation—where even royal progeny and succession unfold within the larger Shaiva cosmological order.
No specific ritual or Pāśupata-yoga method is stated in this verse; it functions as genealogical narration supporting dharma-oriented kingship within a Shaiva Purana.
