अग्नित्रय-पितृवंश-रुद्रसृष्टि-वैराग्योपदेशः
पितरो ऽमृतपाः प्रोक्तास् तेषां चैवेह विस्तरः ऋषीणां च कुलं सर्वं शृणुध्वं तत्सुविस्तरम्

Indirectly, it frames Shiva-tattva as the ground of continuity: the immortality (amṛta) enjoyed by the Pitṛs and the revelatory power of Ṛṣis ultimately rest on Pati (Śiva), who upholds cosmic order and the pathways of liberation for the paśu bound by pāśa.
The verse points toward Pitṛ-related rites (śrāddha, tarpaṇa) and lineage-based transmission of mantra and observance; it is preparatory background rather than a direct teaching of Pāśupata Yoga practice.
